Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) explores thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and links how thoughts and feelings directly cause behaviours and patterns of behaviour. It is evidence e based and the NICE recommended treatment for anxiety, phobias, depression and many other difficulties. The  ultimate aim of CBT is for people to feel better and have an improved quality of life, thus it’s a solution focussed approached that starts with understanding these elements and from that builds a toolbox of strategies for clients to help manage the difficulties with which they present and want to change. It is a collaborative and empowering therapy.

What is RTT?

RTT  (Rapid Transformational Therapy) is a powerful form of therapy that uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind to get to the root of beliefs and behaviours. It combines the most effective principles of Hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT and psychotherapy.

Habits of behaviour are formed by habits of thought and to change behaviours you first have to access the thoughts and core beliefs, the ‘autopilot’, that underpin and run behaviours. The roots  of these core beliefs, values and emotions reside in the subconscious not the conscious.  The subconscious and emotional mind will always win over the conscious, rational mind as emotions are much stronger than logic. This is why willpower almost always fails at some point. Willpower is a conscious process which does not access or address the underlying thought or belief which is running the unwanted behaviour. RTT provides fast access to these subconscious beliefs which need to be changed in order for the behaviour to change.

Having got to the root of difficulties RTT then rewires the neural pathways in the brain and thereby challenges and replaces the old fixed belief systems and unhelpful, negative behaviour patterns. New, positive beliefs are introduced using the power of the subconscious and the process of repair begins. Everyone wants to be free of pain and upset and able to reach their full potential. This is where RTT comes in – it is transformational.

RTT produces exceptional results because it removes the need for ongoing therapy. It works so rapidly that a single session of 90-120 minutes can produce remarkable and powerful results for a wide range of difficulties both emotional and physical and it can be used with all ages including young children. More complicated issues and conditions such as anorexia, may require up to three or four RTT sessions.
