Where psychology meets life on stage and screen.

Specialist psychological support for actors and performers.

My expertise in performance comes from a unique blend of clinical experience, drama school training, professional acting and years of working both in front of and behind the camera as a psychologist.

I’ve worked extensively in performance settings, including as the resident psychologist on major West End and touring productions such as Billy Elliot and Matilda. I support young performers with stage fright, anxiety, emotional regulation, confidence and the intensity that comes with being talented and visible. I also work with adult performers across theatre, music and screen; you’ll find a full credit list at the bottom of this page.

Helping you stay steady when it matters most

Performance psychology for high-pressure professions.

Performance psychology extends far beyond the arts. The same fears and patterns appear in city executives, leaders, barristers and elite professionals in any high-stakes environment. I also work with law firms, theatre companies and organisations to help nurture talent and enhance performance — in the true sense of the word.

I understand performance from both sides. My work focuses on helping you manage pressure, regulate emotions, stay steady and perform at your best when it matters most.

How I can help

If you’re a performer, leader, barrister, actor, musician, creative, executive or elite professional, my work focuses on helping you to:

➝ Overcome stage fright

➝ Learn to enjoy public speaking

➝ Regulate under pressure

➝ Manage anxiety, fear and your inner critical voice

➝ Understand your performance patterns

➝ Rebuild confidence and presence

➝ Overcome burnout, overwhelm and perfectionism

➝ Embrace performance opportunities and show your best self

➝ Fulfil your potential and perform at your best

“I just wanted to drop you a email to thank you again. Whatever you did with M has turned her back to the child we know, excited to get to tour and always wanting to get on stage! Believe it or not her favourite part of the show now is [the bit she struggled most with]. How the tables have turned. We will never be able to thank you enough for helping her to be able to go and do what she’s always dreamed of. Forever grateful, you’re a magical woman!”

Psychology for Actors and Executives

What to expect when we work together.

Our work starts with a collaborative conversation to understand what’s bringing you here and the goals you want to work towards. We take time to understand your circumstances so the work we choose to do is bespoke. Nothing is manualised or one-size-fits-all. While always evidence-based, the focus is on identifying what will be most helpful for you and on meeting your goals.

We work collaboratively and at your pace, helping you navigate challenges and build a psychological toolbox you can use beyond the therapy room. Above all, you can expect a professional, compassionate space where I am in your corner, championing you as well as challenging you.

About me

Clinical expertise shaped by real-life experience.

I’m a clinical psychologist with over two decades’ experience in adolescent mental health, eating disorders, performance psychology and the pressures of life at the Bar.

I’m also deeply committed to educating children, parents and professionals about food and healthy eating habits, helping prevent eating disorders before they emerge. My work spans NHS services, private practice, West End productions and media consultancy, but my aim is always the same: to offer clear, warm, evidence-based support and create environments where young people and adults can thrive.
